Generally a beautiful exhibition that exhibited both the paintings and the matching clothes, but maybe too matchy matchy and all too high fashion.   Fashion is about what only a small group could afford. We define the age by certain styles that so few wore.  Yes, there are beautiful clothes in the exhibition that were really worn, by the wealthy.   Where are the clothes worn by everyone else? They were made into paper when the rags where sold by rag picks to papermakers.
